The legal bit
The information provided by The Sober School does not replace individual medical advice. Depending on your previous level of alcohol consumption, the physical consequences of stopping abruptly can be very serious.
If you or someone you know needs more immediate support or treatment to reduce your alcohol intake, please contact your doctor or a healthcare professional. The Sober School is not a replacement for one-on-one professional therapy, or any other type of traditional alcohol addiction support/therapy. It is an additional support resource that may complement your other endeavours to reduce your consumption of alcohol. If you have any concerns about your drinking, please consult your doctor. REFUND POLICY: GETTING UNSTUCK COURSE
At The Sober School, we’re passionate about helping women to stop drinking or take a break from booze. If you join the Getting Unstuck course and don’t get value – or you feel your learning style doesn’t match how we teach – we’ll happily refund the money you’ve paid us under this Agreement, less any external fees, subject to the following conditions:
- Deadline to Apply for Refund. To be eligible for a refund, you must submit your request by 6pm BST (London time) on Sunday, 8th October 2017. This deadline exists because if you sign up for Getting Unstuck, we want you to get started. If you don’t plan on starting right away, but want to sign up to the October class, we’d love to have you, but definitely make sure this is the right investment for you, as the refund does have a firm deadline.
- Completed Feedback Form. We’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback form, so we can pinpoint what didn’t work for you, and make sure we learn and improve.
- Please do not enrol in Getting Unstuck if you just want to “check it out.” We put an extraordinary amount of time and effort into this programme, and we expect you to do the same. Getting Unstuck is for serious students only.
- Refunds will be processed by the next business day. However, it can take 5-7 business days for your bank to clear these funds in your account. We will refund you via Paypal, on the credit card or debit card that you used to pay.
- Any additional currency conversion fee charged by your credit / debit card provider shall be refunded only at the sole discretion of your credit / debit card provider. The Sober School has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for this.
- If you opted for a payment plan and you do not request a refund by 6pm on Sunday 8th October 2017, you are required by law to complete the remaining payments of your payment plan. We reserve the right to seek recovery of any monies remaining unpaid via our Collection Agency.
- Requests to transfer your place to the next class (starting in January 2018) must be received by 6pm on Sunday 8th October 2017. Transfer requests will be considered on a case by case basis.
