(even though you’re trying really, really hard?)

Perhaps you’ve tried cutting back, or having days off, but nothing seems to last.

You’re fed up of feeling sick and hungover…

But you’re also worried that sobriety will mean missing out.

Sometimes, it’s just hard to know where to begin…

Stopping drinking doesn’t have to be tough.

You simply need the right tools… and the right guide.

Getting Unstuck is a game-changing online course and community that will help you create an alcohol-free life you love.

“I am blown away by how much an online course has changed my life. Kate is so compassionate, knowledgeable, and supportive. This course has changed everything, because I never thought I could feel so happy and so at peace sober. Sobriety is not boring. It’s pretty bad-ass!”

Ruth Baker, 25, Wales

“This was the perfect way to set the foundation for becoming a non-drinker! For me, the myth busting and exposing alcohol for what it truly is was the most helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone who feels like alcohol is preventing them from living their best life.”

Jamie Komadina, 32, Canada

“I have more energy but the major thing is how much calmer I am. I look and feel healthier and all areas of my life have benefitted. Before this course, I couldn’t really envisage a life without alcohol… like strawberries without cream. But now, I get it! It was all an illusion.”

Deleonora Abel, 50, Australia

.If alcohol is making you miserable,

you’ve got two choices.

You can keep on going the way you’re going…

(Feeling fed up and deprived when you’re ‘on the wagon’.

Spending hours thinking about drinking and bargaining with yourself.

Waking up in the middle of the night, tired and dehydrated…)

Or you could do something totally different.

(Something that completely flips the script…

and changes your relationship with alcohol for good.)

Getting Unstuck is your chance to take sobriety for a proper test drive.

Somehow this page has made its way in front of you. Maybe you’ve been following The Sober School for a while because you’re fed up of feeling hungover. Maybe you’ve stopped drinking before, but found it really hard work. Either way, I think you’re reading this for a reason. If you really want to change your drinking – and feel great about it – then perhaps it’s time you stopped trying to figure it all out on your own.

Successful sobriety is not just about abstinence. It’s not about testing your willpower or seeing how long you can cope with missing out. It’s about creating a sober life you love – one where you genuinely don’t want to drink. That’s true freedom. It might sound impossible now, but if I can do it, so can you. All you need are the right tools, the right support system and the right guide.

Hi, I’m Kate – the founder of The Sober School. I spent my twenties locked in a cycle of heavy drinking, black-outs and monster hangovers. I hated the way alcohol made me feel, yet I was terrified of having to stop. Sobriety sounded so dull and boring, like a punishment for bad behaviour. When I finally decided I had to stop drinking for the sake of my health, I was disappointed to discover there was very little support available.

What I really wanted was modern, affordable, no-nonsense advice that left me feeling inspired and empowered. I wanted help from someone who understood what I was going through and who could reassure me that yes, I was making the right decision! But nothing like that seemed to exist. The Sober School is the company I created to help other women who find themselves in the same position. Getting Unstuck is the course I wish had existed when I was looking for help.

Deciding to live alcohol free is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Ultimately, it’s about so much more than not drinking. It’s about finding out who you really are and being the best version of yourself. We only get one life – so don’t let something like alcohol hold you back!

I’ve never taken an online coaching programme before - how does it work?

It’s really straightforward – I like to keep things simple! The course lives on its own, private website. After you sign up, you’ll register as a student on the site and create your own username and password.

The course begins on Monday, 2nd October and lessons will be published a day at a time. Everyone gets the same lesson on the same day, and you can log into the classroom whenever you like.

At the end of each lesson there’ll be space for you to post your thoughts and comments, if you want to share. (It’s an incredibly supportive and non-judgemental space.) I’m in the classroom every day, so I can answer any questions you may have and support you through this journey.

What if I'm not sure about quitting forever?

That’s fine – most people aren’t. When you start thinking about stopping forever, it gets pretty overwhelming, doesn’t it? Most people join Getting Unstuck because alcohol is getting them down and they suspect they’d be better off without it. If that’s you, then I think you owe it to yourself to explore the options. I recommend doing the course and committing to six weeks of sobriety. Then see how you feel at the end. That’s it. Don’t worry about the future or think too far ahead. You’ll be amazed how much changes in 6 weeks!

I'm not sure I can afford this right now?

Here’s the thing: when you’re drinking, you throw money down the drain every single day. Booze isn’t cheap. Once you sit down and work out how much you drink every week, you might be surprised how much it’s costing you. Don’t forget, you’re not just paying for the alcohol itself. You also need to account for all the other costs that come with this lifestyle: the hangover food, taxi rides, lost phones, missed days off work, the gym membership you don’t use… There’s also the cost of things money can’t buy – the missed life experiences, the broken promises, the conversations you can’t remember.

So perhaps the question should be, what is the cost of continuing to drink?

Shouldn't I be able to work this out on my own?

Some people do manage to go it alone, but it can be terribly lonely. And you risk wasting months and months – if not years – trying to figure things out. If you were running a marathon, losing weight or quitting smoking, I’m sure you wouldn’t hesitate to invest in some help, especially if you were finding things tough. Getting Unstuck gives you all the tools and information you need in one place, so you can get on with all the other things you need to get done.

Will anyone know that I've signed up?

Absolutely not. The course fee will show up as ‘Kate Bee’ or ‘Kate Bee TSS’ on bank statements and PayPal accounts. When you enrol on the course you’ll need to pick a username, but this can be anything you like.

I’m a bit shy. Will a group coaching programme work for me?

Absolutely. I’ve had some students keep themselves to themselves throughout the entire course and they’ve still got incredible results. It’s completely up to you how much you contribute to the discussion at the end of every lesson. Even if you’re a bit shy, I suspect you’ll be impressed by the vibe of the group and you’ll want to participate in the end! You’ll get incredible value from the support and ideas of these other intelligent and caring women.

What if I change my mind?

I know that the strategies you’ll learn in this programme work. It’s the exact same process that’s been behind my own successful sobriety (over 4 years) and those of my students (check out the testimonials below). Freeing yourself from the alcohol trap is life changing, and I want you to feel really good about making this investment in yourself and your future.

That’s why I offer a 7-day money back guarantee. If, by the end of the first week, you feel the course isn’t for you, I’ll refund your enrolment fee. That’s how confident I am in the quality of this programme. You can read the full refund policy here.

See you on the inside!

“I had spent many years berating myself about my lack of control over alcohol to the point of depression. Sober school gave me a whole new perspective and has shown me not only how to live sober but happy too.”

Linda, 57, England

“Starting my day with a cup of tea and the daily lesson was something I looked forward to every morning. I loved taking the class with all those other people. The fact that it’s only women was nice – it felt safe.”

Josefine, 36, Los Angeles

“This course was exactly what I needed to change the way I think about alcohol and to finally choose to be sober. It’s a great reminder that a group of women supporting each other can be a truly powerful thing!”

Kate, 31, USA

“In my previous attempts at quitting, I never built out a support system or realized that I needed to create new habits – I just tried to deny myself something without giving myself anything to replace it. The advice and lessons I learned from Kate not only made this go around much more successful, but much happier and healthier. No wonder I was failing before! I have so many tools now and a much better framework.”

Emily, 29, Colorado
